Find the right tender. And know whether it is worth it.
Market intelligence and tender analysis in one product.
auftragr consolidates TED, Bund.de, DTVP and the state platforms Bayern and NRW into one market picture and matches every new tender against your company profile — a dual score of DNA-Match (is this contract for us?) and Quality Score (is it worth the effort?). Once a tender looks interesting, auftragr reads the documents: GAEB files, PDFs and Word documents become a structured dossier from five perspectives — executive summary, bid/no-bid recommendation, risk register, clarification questions and claims potential. Built for construction firms and the German Mittelstand growing in public procurement.
What does auftragr do?
auftragr takes construction firms from the right tender to a submission-ready bid: search and matching, bill-of-quantities analysis, go/no-go decision and claims potential in one product. On the search side auftragr consolidates public tender sources — TED, Bund.de, DTVP and the state platforms Bayern and NRW — and adds contracting-authority dossiers with award history, price benchmarks at CPV and NUTS level, competitor analysis and risk intelligence from procurement-chamber decisions. On the analysis side auftragr reads the tender documents GAEB-natively and VOB/B-aware and delivers the decision base across every position, attachment and contract condition — each statement traceable to its source in the original document. Core infrastructure is EU-hosted on Open Telekom Cloud in Frankfurt; for individual analysis steps we engage various language models from various providers, including European models. Users receive a weekly War Room Briefing — Monday intelligence for the sales team.
Who is auftragr built for?
For the German Mittelstand that wants to grow in public procurement — without building a market-watch team, and without the wrong-bid decisions that hide in incompletely read documents.
Mid-market construction firms
VOB/B contracts, GAEB bills of quantities, claims management. auftragr reads both and shows what the fine print actually says — before the bid goes out.
Sales & business development
Monday briefing instead of dozens of single alerts. Prioritised by your company profile and quality score.
Bid managers & proposal coordinators
Dual-Score shows where effort pays off. After that, a standardised evaluation across every tender — comparable dossiers as decision base for the executive team.
Mid-market executives
Market picture at a glance: who awards what? Which prices clear? Who wins in our segment?
Building-products manufacturers & suppliers
Check BoQ positions against your product catalogue, identify exclusion criteria, surface claims potential for modifications.
Energy, infrastructure & engineering offices
Utilities-sector awards with long contract durations, grid-connection risks, subsidy dependencies — CPV-filtered, with a risk register per tender.
How auftragr works
From company profile to a prioritised feed — and from tender documents to a structured dossier.
- 1
Create your performance profile
Core competencies, references, capacity, regional preferences and exclusion criteria. Set once, maintained continuously.
- 2
Consolidate market sources
auftragr continuously pulls tenders from TED, Bund.de, DTVP, Bayern and NRW. Duplicates are detected, incomplete notices enriched.
- 3
Dual-Score per tender
DNA-Match: how well does this contract fit your profile? Quality Score: how much effort is realistically worth it? Both with reasoning.
- 4
War Room Briefing on Monday
The top candidates of the week — AI-summarised, with authority context, price benchmark and competitor history. No more alert noise.
- 5
Upload the documents and have them read
GAEB X81–X86, PDF, Word, Excel. Up to 30 files per analysis, up to 5 MB total. All positions, all attachments, all contract terms — the five perspectives run in parallel, not sequentially.
- 6
Receive the tender dossier
Executive summary for leadership, bid/no-bid recommendation with confidence score, risk register with probability, open clarification questions, claims potential with VOB/B reference.
- 7
You decide. With a foundation.
No AI oracle. Every recommendation is traceable to the source in the original document. You confirm, adjust or discard — every decision is logged with a timestamp and the user who made it.

Compared to manual work
What changes when market intelligence and a machine first pass do the upstream work — instead of TED search alerts and a bid team under time pressure.
| — | Manual / alert-based | With auftragr |
|---|---|---|
| Time for market review per week | Distributed manual research across sales + bid team | One focused Monday briefing review |
| Procurement-platform coverage | Usually 1–2 sources only (TED or regional) | TED, Bund.de, DTVP, Bayern, NRW consolidated |
| Relevance filter | Keyword alerts with high false-positive rate | DNA-Match against company profile — with reasoning |
| Price anchoring | Gut feel or ad-hoc queries | Benchmark from real awards, CPV- and NUTS-specific |
| Time per tender | Many senior working hours | Machine first-pass + focused review by your team |
| Risk detection | Risks are easily missed under time pressure | Structured risk categories with legal reference |
| Claims potential | Justified claims often never get filed | Systematic detection per VOB/B — source per finding |
| Traceability | Internal notes, often undocumented | Every recommendation sourced to the original location |
Frequently Asked Questions
Which procurement platforms are covered?
Currently: TED (EU level), Bund.de (federal), DTVP and the state platforms Bayern and NRW. Additional state platforms are in preparation — the roadmap prioritises by procurement volume and customer demand.
How is Dual-Score different from usual relevance filters?
Keyword alerts give volume. Dual-Score gives prioritisation. DNA-Match measures profile fit (can we realistically deliver this?). Quality Score measures the expected effort-value trade-off (is the bid commercially worthwhile?). Both scores with reasoning — not just a number.
How precise are the price benchmarks?
The benchmarks are based on real price data points from historical awards, filtered by CPV code and NUTS region. Their strength depends on data volume per segment — for segments with broad data the bands are tighter; for rare CPV combinations, auftragr reports the uncertainty.
What is the 5-lens analysis?
The analysis side of auftragr looks at every tender from five separate perspectives instead of mixing everything into one document: executive summary, bid/no-bid recommendation, risk register, clarification questions and claims potential. Risks and opportunities stay cleanly separated and the decision basis remains traceable.
How is auftragr different from AVA (cost-estimation) software?
AVA programs (California.pro, ORCA, iTWO) calculate cost and quantity. auftragr finds and analyses the tender before calculation. The two systems solve different problems. auftragr does not replace AVA — it feeds it: results export as a handover document for the estimator.
How does claims-potential detection work?
auftragr flags claims potential using the standard VOB/B categories (§2 paras. 3, 5, 6, 7 and others). The assessment is a pre-qualification — the legal review stays with your construction lawyer.
Which file formats are supported?
GAEB X81, X82, X83, X84, X85, X86 and D81, D83, P81, P83. Also PDF (incl. scanned documents with OCR), Word (DOC/DOCX), Excel (XLS/XLSX). Up to 30 files per analysis, max 5 MB total.
What happens to my tender documents?
Your documents are stored on EU infrastructure (Open Telekom Cloud) and used solely for your analysis. No sharing with third parties, no training of AI models on customer data. For individual analysis steps we deliberately engage language models from various providers — exclusively with processing inside the EU, including models built and hosted in Europe. The subprocessors used are named in our Terms and Privacy Policy.
Does auftragr replace the estimator or bid manager?
No. auftragr structures the material — the decision stays with the human. AI structures. Humans decide. auftragr delivers the dossier on which the bid manager or executive decides go/no-go.
Do I need to install software?
No. auftragr is a web application at https://auftragr.de. Sign up with your business email. Export as PDF and structured JSON; CRM and ERP integrations are in preparation — share your specific requirements with us.
Which industries does auftragr cover?
Primary focus: construction, infrastructure and industry. The analysis framework is cross-sector: we have analysed tenders in IT, energy, consulting, logistics and the public sector. Sector-specific norms (VOB/B for construction, EVB-IT for IT, HVA B-StB) are respected where applicable.
How do I get access to auftragr?
auftragr is a web application at https://auftragr.de — sign up with your business email. For the right scope we work it out with you individually; there is no public price list. Contact us at blackswanai.de/en/request-demo.
Where is my data processed?
Core infrastructure is EU-hosted on Open Telekom Cloud in Frankfurt. For AI analysis we engage various language models from various providers, including European models, exclusively with processing inside the EU. Your documents are not shared with third parties for advertising. Details in the privacy policy.
